Role Objective

To support and manage the day-to-day operations of the diagnostic center, ensuring smooth workflow, high-quality service delivery, and efficient coordination across departments.

The Assistant Manager will play a key role in maintaining operational excellence, improving processes, and supporting team performance to meet organizational goals and patient expectations.

Duties

1. Assist in managing daily operations of the diagnostic and pathology setup.\
2. Ensure all processes are carried out efficiently, accurately, and within timelines.
3. Coordinate with lab technologists, front desk, and management for smooth workflow.
4. Monitor patient service quality and ensure a positive experience.
5. Support implementation of new ideas, systems, and operational improvements.
6. Maintain proper documentation and compliance with quality standards.
7. Assist in staff supervision, scheduling, and performance monitoring.
8. Ensure adherence to hygiene, safety, and operational protocols.
9. Handle operational challenges and escalate issues when required.
10. Coordinate inventory management and ensure availability of necessary supplies.
11. Support marketing or outreach activities when required (local engagement).

Qualifications

1. MBA in Hospital Management / Healthcare Management or relevant field.
2. Experience in Diagnostics / Pathology setup preferred.
3. Freshers with strong management skills and interest in healthcare operations may also apply.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Basic knowledge of diagnostic/lab operations is an advantage.
6. Proficiency in computer applications (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
7. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
8. Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
9. Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
10. Attention to detail and time management skills.
11. Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
